The standard Club was setting for the gia Awards Dinner held on Sunday, March 20. That evening, five international retailers were announced as Global Honorees, chosen from a field of 20 national winners.

The 2004-2005 Global Honorees are:

Your Kitchenshop (Australia)
Pom Pom (Canada)
Ziegler Wohn und Tischkultur (Germany)
Total Food Equipment (New Zealand)
Crate and Barrel (USA)

The Top Window Award recognizing excellence in window displays, was presented to Esse (Turkey). Esse is the winner on Innovative Window Displays for 'Top Window' Award.

Esse says:

We in esse put love in the heart of our philosophy, so we wanted that our wishes for New Year extend to the entire world, with love and peace.

We also wanted to show how simple it is extend love and peace to everyone, so we built on a very basic and simple idea: a table for two, reflected from three sides by mirrors.

The table reflected like this looked an infinitely long table, our way of saying that there is enough place to share with everyone in our table, and that such sharing brings abundance, peace, and hope
